We have a bunch of people going to see Taylor Tomlinson do stand-up in DC in November, baseball season is so close we can taste the overpriced beer already, and there's a LOT going down in the next couple of weeks as we prepare for Purim (aka Jewish Halloween if Halloween were way more about politics and seduction).
While we didn't get together our own Purim party for this year there are a couple of good options for adults at Bolton Street Synagogue and with Hinenu (links below), in addition to offerings from Chabad of Downtown and others. Please buy tickets and RSVP to those organizations ASAP as the holiday is right around the corner and I'm sure numbers are being finalized.

Rachel F -- Hosting shabbat in Towson on Friday. Kosher-style, would love tp not be the only woman.
Lindsay - Hosting shabbat on the east side near Lauraville (vegetarian, soup-based). Would love for a few men to join.

Saturday the 15th of March - Megillah readings start EARLY at synagogues of your choice prior to regular shabbat services
Purim Parties from family afternoon air-band competition, through evening @ Peabody Heights Brewery from Hinenu with The Baltimorim Klezmer band playing in the evening.
Bolton Street Synagogue Adult Karaoke Purim Spiel with pre- and post-party also going down.

Lastly, I took over the primary organizing of the Meetup group and in a few months a membership model will be implemented. For now, continue to use Venmo or other methods to lock in for paid events as we explore the options with the least onerous fees, and getting a bank account for those modest annual dues to go into to cover things like name tags, deposits, space rentals as we begin to reach capacity for free spaces.
